HOW TO...

It's time to write a few words about where and how this photo was taken. The place is a small tourist town of Calpe located in the southern part of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea, mainly inhabited by foreigners, according to statistics from 2018, they constituted a group of about 80% of nearly 23,000 inhabitants.I mainly photograph sunrises, the most important reason why I do this is the experience that comes from the practice that allows me to observe the subtlety of spreading light that extends from dawn to sunrise. Some people call this time the blue hour. I wouldn't look at it that way. It all depends on the white balance and filters used.I think that the blue hour is closer to night photography in which it actually occurs before dawn and you have to stretch the exposure time mercilessly to get a decent image, while maintaining the nominal sensitivity and ISO speed, remembering that any parameter adjustment directly in the software, such as, for example, long exposure noise reduction is an interference in the digital negative that may affect the final result, e.g. excessive sharpening, which I encountered in cameras with a 4/3 sensor. Therefore, the most important thing is to set the exposure parameters correctly
